Pennsylvania Community Providers Association (PCPA). (Note: not specifically for peer specialists–for community providers as a whole.) Trade association of Pennsylvania community providers–use the website to learn what’s going on in the provider community.
The Institute for Recovery and Community Integration. The Institute is a program of Mental Health America of Southeastern PA and offers various trainings, including certified peer specialist and WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plans) trainings. The website contains a forum specifically for peer specialists to network, offer advice, share difficulties and triumphs, and in general support each other as they engage in peer support work.
